Dr. Douglas Hanahan

Dr. Hanahan is Director of Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research and Co-director of Swiss Cancer Center Leman. He is a pioneer in human cancer genetic model research. Dr. Hanahan was elected as member of National Academy of Science, member of Institute of Medicine, fellow of American Academy of Arts & Sciences, fellow of American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) and awarded AACR Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Hanahan co-authored The Hallmarks of Cancer together with Dr. Robert Weinberg.
